Pure Hockey, the largest hockey equipment retailer in the United States, has announced plans for a second Columbus location.
According to a news release, the new store will be located at 5900 Old Hamilton Road, south of State Route 161.
A grand opening event is planned for later this year, officials said.
The retailer has earned a reputation as the “go-to destination for hockey players, coaches and fans, offering a comprehensive selection of top-brand hockey equipment for players of all ages and skill levels,” company officials said in the release.
“We’re excited to continue growing our presence in Ohio with the opening of our third Pure Hockey location,” said David Nectow, CEO of Pure Hockey. “Ohio is a market where we continue to see growth and engagement from a vibrant hockey community. Our new location allows us to better support players and families in the region by providing top-tier equipment, education, and an unmatched shopping experience.”
Pure Hockey’s other Ohio stores are on Sawmill Road in northeast Columbus and in Mayfield Heights.
As the official Learn to Play partner of the NHL, the retailer contributes to introducing new players to the game and developing a passion for the sport.
Company officials said the partnership exemplifies the retailer’s dedication to the game and fostering a love for hockey among individuals of all ages.
