Inmate who threatened his attorney loses his appeal

A panel of three judges in the 6th District Court of Appeals recently ruled that an inmate who makes threats during a phone call from jail can reasonably expect that those threats will be relayed to their subject.

The judgment affirmed a ruling out of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas, where defendant Craig Myers was convicted of retaliation by a jury and sentenced to 30 months in prison.
