Appeals court scolds Gallia County judge, but says he's immune from civil action

A panel of judges in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit reversed the judgment of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio earlier this week when it found that a common pleas judge’s “high-handed” actions were protected from a lawsuit by judicial immunity.
