Proposed committe's goal would be to boost Ohio's aerospace industry

A Beavercreek lawmaker’s campaign to create an aerospace and technology study committee has been backed by The Ohio State University College of Engineering.

In proponent testimony for House Bill 292, Randy Moses, the engineering college’s associate dean for research, said the aerospace industry has a bright future.

“Global aircraft demand is projected to increase over the next decade at an annual rate of 19 percent, which is higher than the U.S. economy as a whole,” he said.
