Newark man who attacked his wife at a motel loses appeal

The Fifth District Court of Appeals recently affirmed a Newark man’s convictions for aggravated burglary and domestic violence after he broke into a motel room to argue with his wife.

Paul Rosumenko appealed from the judgment of the Licking County Court of Common Pleas and alleged that his convictions were against the manifest weight and sufficiency of the evidence.

The facts of the case reflected that Rosumenko and his wife, Crystal, were married for more than one year and had one child together.
