This week a three-judge appellate panel in the 11th District Court of Appeals ruled that Ashtabula County police officers had probable cause to enter a home where they suspected methamphetamine was being manufactured.

The panel of judges affirmed the judgment of the Ashtabula County Court of Common Pleas, convicting Judd Campbell of illegal manufacture of meth and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of meth.

The jury also made special findings that Campbell committed both offenses within the vicinity of a juvenile.
