Bill calls for taxpayers to be notified of overpayment

A pair of lawmakers from Columbus and Worthington introduced a bill into the Ohio General Assembly this week that calls for taxpayers to be informed when they have overpaid on their state taxes.

The proposed legislation, House Bill 365, is sponsored by Reps. Michael Stinziano and Mike Duffey and charges the Ohio Department of Taxation with carrying out such notifications.
