The First District Court of Appeals ruled this week that the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas failed to make necessary findings before revoking a defendant’s community control and imposing a prison sentence.

According to the procedural history of the case, Sean Jacquillard pleaded guilty to two counts of nonsupport of dependents in Sept. 2007.

He was sentenced to a five-year period of community control.
