Bipartisan syringe exchange program bill passes House

After getting its “shot” in the Ohio House and being passed by the chamber Wednesday, a bipartisan syringe exchange program bill will move to the Senate.

House Bill 92, sponsored by Reps. Nickie Antonio, D-Lakewood, and Barbara Sears, R-Maumee, is designed to remove existing barriers for local health districts to create and run syringe exchange programs in Ohio.
