The Sixth District Court of Appeals issued a decision last week affirming the judgment of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas when it ruled that a defendant was properly convicted and his offenses were not allied offenses of similar import subject to merger.

The defendant, Jason Pope, appealed the judgment of the Lucas County court following a jury trial.

He was convicted of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
