Legislation would deny workers' compensation benefits for illegal aliens

A bill with provisions once questioned by the Catholic Conference of Ohio as “harmfully provocative,” is back in the legislature.

Senate Bill 176, sponsored by Sen. Bill Seitz, R-Cincinnati, would prohibit illegal and unauthorized aliens from receiving compensation and certain benefits under Ohio’s Workers’ Compensation Law.
