More than 1,000 bicyclists across Ohio have signed off on a bill that specifies the passing distance to the left when a motor vehicle passes a bicycle.

The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Michael Henne, R-Clayton, said the country’s enthusiasm for cycling has grown in the last two decades.
