Legislation would adjust the state's graduated driver's license standards

In response to a rising number of fatal crashes involving teen drivers, a Beavercreek lawmaker is hitting the gas on a bill to strengthen Ohio’s graduated driver’s license system.

“A recent report released by the Governors Highway Safety Association revealed that the number of 16 and 17-year-old deaths in passenger vehicles increased dramatically over the past year,” Rep. Rick Perales said. “Motor vehicle crashes remain the number one killer of American teenagers.”
