The Ohio State Bar Association will say good-bye to a man who has been an integral part of its success for 33 years when Executive Director Denny Ramey steps down from his post.

Ramey announced earlier this month that he will be retiring at the end of this month and Mary Amos Augsburger will be taking over as executive director on July 1.

He said he’s 66 years old and after 27 years at the helm, “it’s just time.”

Ramey began his career with the OSBA in 1980 when he started serving as the assistant executive director.
