Social media these days are ubiquitous, from individuals to businesses, millions are using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and similar products for a variety of reasons.

For attorneys, however, the use of social media isn’t quite as straightforward as it is for most others.

While they can be effective in marketing a law firm and finding new clients, there are many social media landmines lawyers must navigate to avoid problems.

Those problems could begin as simply as a seemingly innocent posting on Facebook.
