A bill that landed in the Ohio General Assembly earlier this month would exempt a minor’s information from online police accident reports.

The proposed legislation, Senate Bill 61, is sponsored by Sen. Bill Beagle.

In recent sponsor testimony for the bill before the Senate Public Safety, Local Government and Veterans Affairs committee, Beagle, R-Tipp City, said he drafted SB 61 after he was contacted by a constituent whose child was involved in an accident on a school bus.
