Clandestine chemists will go to jail if bill is passed, DeWine says

In intensifying his efforts to fight synthetic drug abuse, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine pushed for an amendment to House Bill 334 that would bolster current state standards against altering a drug’s components to sidestep the law.

“The day Gov. (John) Kasich signs this bill into law, my agents, local law enforcement and the Ohio Pharmacy Board will be in the field to enforce it,” DeWine said.
