Lawmaker states case for education accountability reform

In sponsor testimony before the House Education committee, Rep. Gerald Stebelton outlined his reasons for sponsoring a bill that would revise Ohio’s education accountability system.

“Our goal with this legislation is to improve Ohio’s accountability system through a meaningful, phased-in approach to provide all schools and, more importantly, Ohio’s students with a comprehensive and accurate evaluation system,” said Stebelton, R-Lancaster.
