Popular hunting and fishing retailer Cabela’s has announced that it will open its first Ohio store in the Polaris area sometime next spring.

Cabela’s and its primary competitor Bass Pro Shops are known as much for being tourist destinations as they are for being places to buy a gun, fishing pole or sleeping bag.

Cabela’s stores, for example, typically have big aquariums and a variety of taxidermied wildlife. Some even have archery ranges.
