10th District judges agree with finding that denied permanent total disability to employee

Adopting the decision of a court magistrate, a three-judge appellate panel this week denied a man’s request for a writ to compel his former employer to grant him permanent total disability compensation.

The 10th District Court of Appeals panel agreed with the magistrate’s decision that, based on evaluations from four doctors and a staff hearing officer’s order, Anthony Walker was not eligible for total disability benefits and was able to do some types of work.
