OSU study: Growing health disparity among those with same socioeconomic status

Past research has expectedly found discrepancies in health between people of different socioeconomic classes, whether it’s differences in education or income or other factors.

Now, a new Ohio State University study shows that for the first time there is growing disparity among people within the same socioeconomic class.

OSU researchers found, for example, that health disparities between employed and unemployed men decreased over the course of the study while disparities among men who were employed actually increased.
