Bill would authorize solicitations of private contributions for state scholarships

A bill that would authorize the administrators of two state-based scholarship programs to apply for grants and receive contributions from public and private sources is seeing movement in the Ohio General Assembly.

House Bill 280, sponsored by Reps. Mike Dovilla and Lynn Wachtmann, had its first hearing before the House Veteran’s Affairs committee last week.
